With a diverse 30-year career in financial services, Andrew likes to challenge orthodoxy. He has worked in asset management and pension consultancy in many countries including UK, US, Netherlands, Germany and Georgia.

Andrew’s first exposure to African pension schemes was in early 2000’s when he was Director of Institutional Strategy at US asset manager SEI Investments. For the last decade Andrew has focused on working with African institutional investors and their regulators, particularly in Kenya, Nigeria and Côte d’Ivoire, including working with the World Bank and African Development Bank.

Andrew is an alumnus of University of Cambridge and London Business School. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, and was elected to its Council between 2016 and 2019. Andrew is also Fellow of the Actuarial Society of Kenya and a CFA Charterholder.
